Professor Michael Manfra's Quantum Semiconductor Systems Group

I designed and fabricated sample holder pucks (probe attachments) in a Helium-3 dilution refrigerator and 4K Helium-3 systems. This allowed me to more fully understand the equipment necessary for low-temperature measurements of devices.

Professor Supriyo Datta's Lab

I worked with Dr. Jan Kaiser and Professor Datta on the hardware acceleration of probabilistic circuits. I also pursued an independent project on numerical analysis for highly nonlinear stochastic differential equations.

DSN Conference with Professor Saurabh Bagchi

I wrote an extended abstract with Professor Saurabh Bagchi on offloading data filtration for Internet of Things sensors, and in June 2022, I was invited to present my work at the Dependable Systems and Networks conference in Baltimore.

Professor Michael Ladisch's Laboratory of Renewable Resources

I led a team comprised of two other students, one from animal sciences and the other from agribusiness, under Distinguished Professor Michael Ladisch to invent and experimentally validate a new soy-based biostimulant. We won an award of $20,000 and gave numerous interviews. In August 2021, I was invited to speak about the environmental benefits of my biostimulant product with Indiana’s Industry Affairs Committee, a panel composed of state senators and industry leaders. This was an opportunity for me to convey my work to people with non-technical backgrounds. While in Professor Ladisch's lab, I also gained experience analyzing proteins with high-performance liquid chromotagraphy equipment.
